In addition, advanced study support is available to take education to the next level, even at the graduate level. The program also offers opportunities to build professional networks by connecting with industry professionals and fellow interns to jumpstart one’s career.

Applications for summer 2024 internships opened on October 1, 2023, and will close on December 1, 2023.

Internship positions are available with AISES partner BMM Testlabs in Las Vegas, NV. Interns will assist test engineers in assessing the integrity, accountability, and functionality of gaming technology, performing statistical analysis of gaming device and game probabilities, reviewing gaming device and system source code, and developing testing procedures.

There are also multiple positions available with AISES partners USDA Forest Service Forest Products Laboratory (FPL) and USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS).

FPL is the national wood research laboratory within the U.S. Forest Service and the internships will be located in Madison, Wisconsin.

Multiple positions are available with NRCS, and there are also possible openings with Bonneville Power Administration (BPA), GeoComply, and Medtronic.
