The University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) recently held a career services webinar. In addition to sharing internship tips, UMGC’s Career Services also explored job shadowing and how to unlock new opportunities.
Up next is UMGC’s Virtual InternPLUS Fair, your opportunity to meet employers, explore internships and job openings, and enhance your skills.
Internship opportunities may be hybrid, in-person, or remote. Details will be discussed during an initial interview. Interested candidates should sign up to receive job alerts.
Boeing has announced that it is hiring for its Internship Program. These internships enable students to work alongside mentors, leaders, and peers, gaining valuable experience that will help build the foundation for their future careers.
The program provides opportunities for students majoring in aerospace, chemical, civil, computer, electrical, industrial, materials, mechanical/structural, or software engineering, as well as in computer science and physics.
Interns will also have the opportunity to build personal and professional relationships by attending networking events, development seminars, executive meetings, community outreach activities, and similar events.
The application period runs from August to October in the fall and from February to March in the spring.
