POSTED ON Aug 25, 2025

On National Intern Day, the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) celebrated all its interns across the country. The HACU National Internship Program started in 1992 with just 24 students and one federal agency.

Today, it places over 400 students in internships nationwide each year. It takes pride in fostering the professional development of students by partnering with corporate and federal entities to offer internships.

Don’t miss the opportunity to apply for the spring 2026 session of the HACU National Internship Program.

The spring internship session dates are Jan. 5 – April 17, 2026. Deadline is Oct. 10, 2025.

The HACU National Internship Program (HNIP) includes both undergraduate and graduate students interning across the country.

The fall 2025 internship session is scheduled to run from September 1 to December 12, 2025. Paid internship opportunities are available for students from all majors.

The Society for Advancement of Chicanos and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS) is encouraging students to find internships during the new semester and explore opportunities with the SACNAS Career Center—a hub for jobs and career growth resources.

There is still time to enter your abstract for the 2025 Great Minds in STEM (GMiS) Research Poster Competition.

Undergraduate and graduate students are invited to present their work to a national STEM audience and enhance their professional profile, build connections in the STEM community, and gain valuable feedback from academic, research, and industry experts. Deadline is September 1st, 2025.
