With tools like ChatGPT and Claude becoming increasingly prominent, artificial intelligence (AI) in the workforce is a key topic at a series of seminars held by the Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA), which began on July 27.

The convention aims to provide insights on AI, how to navigate risks and opportunities, and how to flourish in a future where AI plays a significant role.

ALPFA is recognized as a leading organization dedicated to fostering knowledge, networks, and action to create a lasting impact in Hispanic communities.

In August, the Northeast Regional Tech Summit, co-hosted by ALPFA, will focus on how artificial intelligence is transforming various sectors.

The Mark Cuban Foundation’s AI Bootcamp will take place this fall in cities across the United States, with applications open until September 30.

Applications are currently open for high school students in grades 9-12 who want to learn AI skills and gain career advantages while joining a national network of future leaders.

This hands-on program introduces students to AI through real-world projects in healthcare, sports, and business. It is designed to be accessible to students with disabilities, ensuring full participation in the program.

The 2025 AI Boot Camp will take place over three weekends in November, providing 20 hours of instruction on AI and emerging technologies.

Students will engage in capstone projects, explore the ethics of AI, and discuss various career options. No prior knowledge of computer science is required.

Upon completion, students will gain access to ongoing job opportunities and AI resources throughout their high school careers. The boot camp will be held in more than 20 states, including Arizona, California, Florida, and Texas.

Additionally, a free, one-year virtual course is available for educators to enhance their understanding of AI, with a focus on differentiation, accessibility, and critical thinking.
