Scholarships, scholarships, and more scholarships

POSTED ON Jan 01, 2025

Research conducted recently shows that private scholarships greatly enhance graduation rates for minority students facing financial challenges. Unfortunately, these students receive a disproportionately small amount of private scholarships, accounting for only 11% of awards from Scholarship America.

Here are a few scholarship opportunities to apply for before January 2025:

The University of Rochester, in partnership with FIRST, offers scholarships ranging from $8,000 to $15,000 per year for students who have participated on a FIRST team and are enrolling as first-year students at the University.

The New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJCPA) Scholarship Fund awards college scholarships to accounting students in their second, junior, or senior year, as well as to those entering an accounting-related graduate program.

The SVC Foundation Industry Scholarship provides financial support for individuals already working in vacuum coating technology. The deadline for applications to the Reagan Academy GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program is January 3, 2025.

Additionally, the College Board BigFuture Scholarships program offers significant scholarship opportunities for students.
