The Hispanic Access Foundation has launched the Roberto A. Salazar Legacy Scholarship, which provides a $10,000 scholarship to a deserving undocumented Latino student.
The Hispanic Access Foundation partners with community and faith leaders, local service providers, and provides valuable information to enhance the quality of life of Latinos in the U.S.
The inaugural Roberto Salazar Legacy Scholarship has been launched to provide financial assistance of $10,000 to an exceptional undocumented student dedicated to pursuing higher education.
The scholarship is named after the founding board member, Roberto A. Salazar, in honor of his legacy and commitment to helping Latino students.
High school seniors and current undergraduate students who are undocumented and have a minimum GPA of 3.0 are eligible for the scholarship. The recipient can use the scholarship amount for their college education in Fall 2024.
The mission of the Hispanic Access Foundation is to empower Latino leaders by providing them with access, resources, and support to bring about meaningful change.
This scholarship aligns with their mission and will help an outstanding Latino student who shares their values and beliefs.
The selected student will receive $10,000 to use towards their college education, with the scholarship amount disbursed per semester/quarter.
Access to higher education should not be difficult, especially for undocumented Latino students. Our Roberto A. Salazar Legacy Scholarship will provide an undocumented Latino student with a $10,000 scholarship. Learn more about app requirements here: https://t.co/gB4Jj700fM pic.twitter.com/k9RcdAqCta
