Recently, Sylvia Alva returned to Cal State Fullerton as the university’s president, aiming to inspire students to pursue their dreams.

In 2021, Isaac Alferos, a business administration major at Cal State Fullerton, was selected as a Panetta Congressional intern and gained a broad perspective on domestic and foreign policy through virtual sessions.

The Panetta Institute’s Congressional Internship Program is available to students from 23 California State University campuses and three Northern California private schools.

California State University, Northridge’s Division of Student Affairs offers various programs to help students with their career paths, including CareerLink and Handshake, which provide job and internship opportunities and career development resources.

These programs aim to develop students’ job search skills and connect them with the workforce through initiatives such as the Internship and Experiential Learning Program, On-Campus Interview Program, and Career and Job Fair Program.

Additionally, the College-to-Work Skill Building Program and Federal Government Employment Partnership Program – USA CareerLink are also available.
