The Ford Driving Dreams Facebook page has announced that students who applied for a scholarship should expect an announcement mid-May. Earlier this year, the Ford Motor Company Fund, Texas Ford Dealers, North Texas Ford Dealers, Houston Ford Dealers, and LULAC National Education Service Centers (LNESC) teamed up to give away $650,000 in scholarships.

Since 2012, the Ford Motor Company Fund’s Ford Driving Dreams has provided educational tools and scholarships to more than 200,000 students in the U.S., Puerto Rico, and Latin America.
Ford Driving Dreams is an initiative that empowers youth to have a vision—encouraging them to pursue a college education as well as social entrepreneurship opportunities. From networking to college preparedness and beyond, Ford Driving Dreams inspires youth to seek a future full of possibilities.
In related news, the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) announced that in partnership with the Ford Motor Company Fund, the organization will host webinars throughout the 2021 spring semester to help students address issues arising from the COVID-19 pandemic.
