In tribute to Latino contributions to America, Rumba Meats has announced a partnership with the United States Hispanic Leadership Institute to award 25 academic scholarships and and help students with leadership training.
Applicants must be a high school senior graduating in the spring of 2021, demonstrate a need for financial support, and show consistent, active participation in public and/or community service activities.
The application deadline is November 30, 2020.
If awarded the scholarship, recipients will be asked to provide a video articulating how their Hispanic heritage has influenced their life. Essays will describe family history, significant achievements and examples of overcoming obstacles.
