The BEYA Conference starts today and on the agenda is a two-day STEM Career Fair. Students attend to meet top employers, take advantage of resources designed to enhance job search, and get tools for a successful STEM career.
The BEYA Conference offers students and professionals information on the demands, education, training, and experience, as well as skills and requirements for jobs in the science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) workforce.
Other events at BEYA are the HBCU Innovation hall and poster presentations. It’s an opportunity to learn about the cutting-edge research that is taking place at institutions around the country.
The Pre-College Program is also an opportunity for you to connect with organizations that are working to grow the STEM pipeline and build the digital workforce.
Whether you are in the job market or not, don’t miss the career fair. It is often the place to sample new technologies and experience best practices in the industry, get access to training, networking, role models, and mentors.
