Miami Dade College, the largest institution of higher education in the country offering more than 300 educational pathways to a career, has announced that its students will take center stage at eMerge Americas at the Miami Beach Convention Center. The college booth will have information on the careers of the future and Tesla START, which will launch this fall at MDC.
Tesla START is a 12-week program that pays students while they are training to become an electric vehicle technician. Tesla provides the vehicles, equipment, instructor, tools, and curriculum for hands-on learning during the automotive training program for service technicians.
The MDC will also have information on its Idea Center, Makers Lab, Miami Animation & Gaming International Complex (MAGIC), trade and transportation, engineering, technology and design, and the Virtual College.
The discussion, “AI, IoT & Other Technologies Transforming Health Care Today,” on Monday, April 29 will feature healthcare experts and discuss how artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, and other technologies are helping to transform healthcare today.
Dr. Lenore P. Rodicio, MDC’s executive vice president and provost, will serve as moderator for the “Women, Innovation & Technology” panel, on April 30, Leaders will discuss what they are doing for future generations of female leaders.
