The Geneseo Migrant Center in New York administers a variety of scholarships you should know about. They include the Friends of Senator Jack Perry Migrant Scholarship, the Margaret Raley New York State Migrant Student Scholarship, Aurelio “Larry” Jazo Migrant Scholarship, Juanita Crippen Memorial Scholarship, the Robert Apicella Good Samaritan Migrant Scholarship, and the Leah Levy Memorial Scholarship.
Geneseo’s Migrant Farmworker Baccalaureate Scholarship is designed to assist young people in obtaining a degree without being encumbered with substantial debt.
The scholarship provides support for a student with a history of migrating for employment in agriculture who has successfully completed one year of college to cover expenses beyond what the youth is entitled to in federal/state and other scholarship assistance.
