Applications for Brown and Caldwell 2019 scholarships will close on April 15th. Applicants will be notified by the end of June. if you are a student who is passionate about water, the environment and solving complex challenges, these scholarships can help you reach the next step in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).
The Brown and Caldwell Navajo Nation Scholarship provides $1,000 for up to four (4) years of schooling (for a total of $4,000). The scholarship is distributed annually and a laptop computer or tablet is awarded the first year only.
Brown and Caldwell also offer a $5,000 Minority Scholarship to support students who identify as minorities and have declared a major in civil, chemical, mechanical, electrical or environmental engineering or one of the environmental sciences, such as geology, hydrogeology, ecology.
Brown and Caldwell engineers and scientists help municipal, private and federal agencies solve environmental challenges. Some of their projects include working with the U.S. Navy to meet Chesapeake Bay Restoration Initiatives; protecting and restoring Louisiana’s Coast, the Coosa River Basin, and Lake Erie’s Dead Zone.
