From hispanicengineer.com National News Who are the nation’s best employers? We’re letting Career Communications Group magazine readers decide! CCG is conducting its annual “Most Admired Employers” survey to find out what's important to minority professionals in science, technology, engineering, and eathematics fields. More minority professionals working in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields particpated in the 2008 and 2009 Most Admired Employers survey, and the results suggest that professionals feel their employers' diversity efforts work. But nearly 57 percent felt fewer minorities hold engineering or scientific positions in their workplace, and 26 percent reported organizations have no formal recruiting programs for women and minorities. What more needs to be done to attract women and underrepresented minorities to meet the shortfall of STEM workers in the United States.
