40 Under 40: Jose Tamayo

Jose Tamayo is an Executive Black Belt, Value Based Lean Six Sigma, for ITT Electronic Systems. In this capacity, he leads test coverage analysis efforts to various Line Replaceable Modules for the purpose of improving yields, test efficiency, cycle time tio reduce rework at system level tests. 

Tamayo has served as Project manager to various black belts projects in plant operations to increase production and efficiencies and to reduce waste, defects and downtime in the production process.  In his previous position as a Manufacturing Engineer, Microelectronics Advance Manufacturing Group, Tamayo led a team responsible for the upgrade of automatic equipment without disturbing production or missing scheduled deliveries.
