Janice Rios-Negron is a Microwave Engineer II for Alltel/Verizon Wireless. As a shared employee she supports Alltel's microwave design across the United States. She designs licensed and unlicensed point-to-point microwave radio systems using Pathloss.
As an RF Engineer JMA/Sprint, Rios-Negron developed Rev A and RNC-AP maps using Microsoft Streets & Trips and MapInfo. Before that, she worked as a Systems Engineer II at Raytheon, where she contributed to the Missile Defense National Team Systems (Boeing) sensors analysis.
Rios-Negron is a member of IEEE and the College of Engineers and Land Surveyors of Puerto Rico. She serves as the Hispanic lead for Raytheon and as a member of the activities committee at Alltel. She mentors new hires and participates in recruiting activities.
