Ana Echemendia is a program manager for the U.S. Department of Education’s Education Data Exchange Network (EDEN) contract with Dell Perot Systems, which focuses on providing student performance data to help the Department make better policy, management and budget decisions for all K-12 educational programs.

Echemendia is responsible for the development of technology solutions for the collection, storage, and dissemination of EDEN data and the creation of an online user interfaces to replace the legacy document-based data collection processes. She manages a team of 28 employees and subcontractors and is responsible for all facets of contract performance and customer interaction.

Echemendia worked in partnership with the Department of Education to add task orders, including the largest Civil Rights Data Collection which achieved 100% response rate in record time. During her leadership tenure, Dell Perot Systems has earned over $300K in performance incentives.
