Al Barrios is a Manufacturing Engineering Team Leader for ITT Industries Electronics Warfare Integrated Systems. In this role, Barrios is responsible for providing technical and supervisory leadership to manufacturing engineers supporting microelectronics assembly operations.
He currently leads a team effort directed at achieving Value Based Six Sigma and Lean Initiative improvements in the MRSI-605 Automatic Pick and Place work cell. During his years at ITT, Barrios has been involved in several award winning projects, including two Process Improvement projects that received ITT's Ring of Quality Award.
Barrios, his high school coach and several of his high school teammates started a scholarship and support group for student atheletes attending college. He also coaches soccer and baseball at the high school and club level.
